INTRODUCTION

Frendl LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Frendl mobile application (the "App"). This

Our approach to privacy is simple: we collect as little information as possible. The Frendl App

is designed with your privacy in mind:

- We do not collect or store your personal information (such as name, email address, or phone

number)

- We do not collect or store the images you scan

- We do not track your location

- We do not use analytics tools to track your behavior

- We do not create user profiles

HOW THE APP WORKS

When you scan a product label:

1. The image is processed on your device

2. Text from the image is sent to Google OCR and Claude AI for analysis

3. Results are returned to your device and displayed

4. Your scan history is stored locally on your device only

No images or scan results are stored on our servers. All data remains on your device.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Our App uses the following third-party services:

- Google OCR API: To extract text from images

- Claude AI API: To analyze ingredient information

These services receive only the text extracted from images, not the images themselves. No

personal information is shared with these services.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

Subscription payments are processed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do

not collect, process, or store any payment information.

DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

- You can delete your scan history at any time using the "Clear History" feature in the App

- Uninstalling the App will remove all stored data

- No data recovery is possible after deletion

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by

posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
